I think the US should pass a law where 30% of stock portfolios should be short.    
 
Most of US stocks go to 0.  Most us stocks right now, will go to 0.   about 90% of tickers today will be gone in 15 years 
 
Problem is zombie stocks exist for decades because its not worth shorting, short squeeze market manipulation is not punished, institution selling is realizing losses.  I can list 10 stocks with market caps over 1 billion dollars which will lose 99% of their value in 10 years.  I can&#39;t tell you 10 stocks over 1 billion market cap that will double their value in 10 years 
 
Shorting stocks needs to be encouraged maybe no capital gains on shorting stocks
