It cautioned that the total may be underreported since most state-licensed pharmacies are not required to submit such reports.The FDA also flagged dosing errors that sometimes required hospitalization, contamination risks from multidose vials used beyond 28 days, inadequate refrigeration, fraudulent labels and semaglutide salt forms without a known lawful basis for compounding. It also established an import “green list” to keep GLP-1 ingredients with potential quality concerns out of the U.S. supply chain while allowing shipments from compliant manufacturers.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Hims Pivots To Approved Novo Drugs</h2>Under a March agreement with Novo, Hims mainly offers FDA-approved Ozempic injections and Wegovy injections and tablets. It stopped advertising compounded GLP-1s, reserving them for patients whose clinicians document a specific medical need that approved products cannot meet.The deal followed Hims’ short-lived February launch of compounded oral Semaglutide starting at $49 per month. Hims withdrew the pill after about two days, citing “constructive conversations with stakeholders across the industry.”Novo subsequently sued Hims for patent infringement, calling the launch a “tipping point,” but dismissed the case after the companies reached their distribution agreement.&nbsp;The branded-drug pivot has pressured profitability. Hims’ Q2 gross margin fell to about 64% from 76% a year earlier because approved GLP-1s cost more than compounded copies. The company reported $753 million in revenue and an $86 million net loss, including restructuring expenses and legal accruals. Hims nevertheless raised its 2026 revenue forecast to between $3.1 billion and $3.3 billion. Nearly all new weight-loss customers have joined through branded products since March.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Hims Launches Across Australia</h2>Hims officially launched its men’s health brand across Australia on Monday, rebranding Pilot after acquiring digital-health company Eucalyptus. Existing Pilot patients will retain their treatment plans, local providers and care relationships while gaining access to Hims’ wider platform. The combined company will remain Nasdaq-listed with the deal expected to close by the end of this year.&nbsp;In a letter to the employees, GoPro CEO Nick Woodman said that the agreement marks an important step in the company’s strategic review, which began in May. Woodman described the transaction as a positive outcome for the company, its workforce, customers and shareholders.“Starman Optical has the resources to help us scale-expand our consumer product roadmap, grow our software and subscription business, and broaden the categories we compete to include commercial and defense markets.”He added that Starman’s position in the AI infrastructure market could become a key part of the strategy. The company manufactures optical transceivers in the U.S., creating an opportunity for GoPro to add higher-margin revenue and use those proceeds to support expansion into new businesses.Despite the planned transformation, Woodman said customers, partners and suppliers should not expect immediate changes. Its active electrical cables, or AECs, use chips to boost electrical signals, allowing data to travel over copper with lower power consumption and less copper than traditional solutions.&nbsp;The company is also expanding into optical DSPs, silicon photonics and other optical interconnect products. Its competitors include Broadcom, Marvell Technology and Astera Labs, among other companies targeting the rapidly growing AI networking and connectivity market.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Credo Issues Strong Forecast</h2>For the fiscal second quarter, Credo expects revenue of $525 million to $535 million. That implies roughly 9%-12% sequential growth, but the guidance appears to have disappointed investors accustomed to larger beats and stronger outlooks.Mizuho analyst Jordan Klein described the results as “solid and good,” but said the revenue beat and guidance “seems a bit skinnier” than in previous quarters, according to a report in Barron’s.Management remained bullish on the longer-term opportunity. (NIO) came under pressure on Tuesday after the Chinese EV maker forecast a fourth-quarter (Q4) delivery rebound, but disappointing near-term guidance and rising expenses drew fresh skepticism from Wall Street.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NIO">Nio’s U.S.-listed stock</a> closed 4% lower at $4.06 on Tuesday, marking their second consecutive decline and fourth loss in five sessions.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nio Bets On Q4 Recovery</h2>Nio expects China’s passenger-vehicle market to recover in Q4 and is targeting average deliveries of more than 40,000 vehicles per month. “We expect that the passenger vehicle market to be able to recover in Q4 this year,” management said during the earnings call. “With that, our target for Q4 is achieving an average volume of over 40,000 units per month.”The target implies more than 120,000 deliveries in Q4, compared with Nio’s third-quarter forecast of 108,000 to 111,000 vehicles. This would also represent a sequential growth of at least 8% from the top end of the Q3 range. Nio also expects annual delivery growth of between 40% and 50% over the medium to long term, driven by its product lineup and expanding sales and service network.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nio’s Q3 Outlook Misses Estimates&nbsp;</h2>Before reaching the anticipated rebound, Nio must navigate a softer third quarter. The company expects Q3 revenue of between 33.29 billion yuan ($4.95 billion) and 34.05 billion yuan ($5.07 billion), up 53% to 56% year-over-year but well below Wall Street’s 36.33 billion yuan ($5.41 billion) consensus estimate. The midpoint of the range is about 7% below consensus.Nio guided for 108,000 to 111,000 vehicle deliveries, representing growth of 24% to 28% from last year but only a modest sequential increase from the 107,658 vehicles delivered in Q2. After delivering 35,934 vehicles in July and 35,836 in August, Nio needs to deliver between 36,230 and 39,230 vehicles in September to hit its forecast.<h2 class="st-heading-2">BofA Flags Nio’s Higher Expenses</h2>Bank Of America Securities (BofA) lowered its Nio price target to $5.20 from $6, still implying a 28% upside from current levels, and maintained a ‘Neutral’ rating. Its loss narrowed to 0.29 yuan per share from 2.31 yuan a year earlier, while adjusted diluted earnings of 0.01 yuan per ADS beat expectations for a 0.30-yuan loss.Vehicle margin improved to 18.5% from 10.3%, helping Nio record a third consecutive quarter of adjusted operating profit.
