He instead ordered the Sundar Pichai-led company to share some search data about specific search index and user interaction, but not advertising data with third parties. He also forbade Google from entering into exclusive contracts with companies to make it the exclusive search engine. The decision on Friday expands on the prior ruling, Bloomberg said. Companies that advance to on-orbit testing will move into prize pools worth hundreds of millions, with eventual production contracts estimated at $1.8 billion to $3.4 billion annually.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Northrop Scales Up Its Manufacturing Footprint</strong></h2><p>Northrop has poured millions into new construction in the last few years. Northrop Grumman Says Test Data From New Rocket Motor Built In Less Than A Year Looks ‘Promising’

They will replace LKQ, Solstice Advanced Materials and Mohawk Industries that are being moved to the SmallCap 600.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>MidCap 400 Sees Broad Changes</strong></h2><p>UL Solutions, Pinterest, Booz Allen Hamilton, SPX Technologies, Dycom Industries, BorgWarner and Hecla Mining will enter the S&amp;P MidCap 400. It also asked for details on consumer complaints that the company is aware of, in addition to field reports and other incident reports. NHTSA has also demanded for Tesla’s answers on what it considers to be the causal or contributing factor in these incidents.</p><p>The letter is part of the regulator’s probe into complaints of FSD-equipped vehicles engaging in behaviors that constitute traffic violations including proceeding or attempting to proceed into intersections against red traffic signals, entering opposing lanes of travel or attempting to enter roads with wrongway signs, and improper lane use within intersections.</p><p>Tesla must now respond to the regulator’s queries by January 19, 2026, failing which it may be subject to penalties.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Regulator Says Aware Of More Complaints</h2><p>The NHTSA said that it is now aware of 62 complaints, four media reports and 14 reports flagged by Tesla, where the EV maker’s vehicles operating with the company’s FSD software malfunctioned. This is higher than the 58 incidents flagged by the company when it opened the probe into about 2.9 million vehicles in October.</p><p>NHTSA’s probe seeks to assess the scope, frequency, and potential safety consequences of FSD executing driving maneuvers that constitute traffic safety violations. Tesla Faces Tough Questions From US Regulator As FSD Probe Widens With More Complaints And Incident Reports

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>HoldCo urged KeyCorp to stop acquisitions and replace its CEO while accelerating share buybacks.</li><li>The fund criticized past strategic decisions and pushed for board changes tied to earlier deals.</li><li>It warned it could launch a proxy fight or advocate a sale to a larger bank if the board resists.</li></ul><p>KeyCorp (KEY) became the latest U.S. regional lender to come under direct fire from HoldCo Asset Management on Friday, as the Florida-based hedge fund urged the bank to swear off acquisitions, replace CEO Chris Gorman and funnel all excess capital into share buybacks.</p><p>HoldCo said funds it manages own about 7.5 million KeyCorp shares worth more than $140 million and laid out its case in a presentation to the bank’s independent directors titled “Read My Lips: No New Acquisitions.”&nbsp;</p><p>Shares of KEY closed up 0.8% in the regular session and remained nearly flat in after-hours trading at the time of writing.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Demands: No Deals, More Buybacks, Board Changes</strong></h2><p>In its presentation, HoldCo called on the board to adopt a formal “no acquisitions” policy for future bank deals and to commit that any capital remaining after funding organic growth and paying the regular dividend be used for stock repurchases.</p><p>The fund said it wants Gorman removed as chairman and CEO and urged KeyCorp not to re-nominate Lead Independent Director Alexander Cutler or other directors who approved earlier strategic moves such as the First Niagara acquisition. HoldCo also proposed an independent capital-allocation committee that would exclude representatives of Scotiabank, which holds a 14.9% stake in KeyCorp following a $2.8 billion strategic investment.</p><p>The presentation criticized KeyCorp’s pre-2023 interest-rate positioning, securities and swap decisions, and past use of capital, arguing those choices contributed to balance-sheet stress, ratings downgrades and shareholder dilution that was later addressed through the Scotiabank deal.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Threat Of Proxy Fight</strong></h2><p>HoldCo, which manages about $2.6 billion and was founded by Vik Ghei and Misha Zaitzef, has been active across the regional banking sector. The firm pushed for a sale of Comerica, which in October agreed to be acquired by Fifth Third Bancorp in a $10.9 billion transaction, and has pressed for changes at several other U.S. regional lenders, with two banks last month avoiding proxy fights after engaging with the fund.</p><p>At KeyCorp, HoldCo said it is considering a near-term proxy contest and is prepared to push for a sale of the Cleveland-based bank to a stronger buyer if the board does not shift course. Garbarino and Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability Chairman Josh Brecheen, were sent in light of a surge in violence against law enforcement, they said. They also added that the Committee on Homeland Security is investigating the mobile apps in question that allows users to track U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and other U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials.</p><p>“The Committee is concerned that these apps not only jeopardize the safety of DHS personnel but also enable malicious actors to incite violence and obstruct lawful government operations,” they wrote in the letter. They also sought answers from Apple and Google as to the measures being taken to remove these apps from their respective app stores and to ensure that they are not used to endanger law enforcement.</p><p>“To be clear, the Committee is a strong supporter of all Americans’ right to free speech. However, that right is not absolute, the representatives wrote.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">ICEBlock And Dallas Shooting</h2><p>The representative also highlighted that a gunman used an app called ICEBlock to track the movement of ICE agents before a shooting in September at an ICE facility in Dallas, Texas which led to the death of two individuals in custody and injured two others.</p><p>Companies that hosted ICEBlock, including Apple, removed the app from their platforms after the shooting. Committee On Homeland Security Send Letters To Apple, Google On Apps Allowing Tracking Of Federal Law Enforcement

Siroker said that Limitless will be working with Meta to bring the shared vision to life.</p><p>The CEO, however, did not disclose the terms of the deal.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">What About Limitless’ Existing Customers?</h2><p>Siroker said that the company will continue to support its AI-powered Pendant customers for at least another year but will no longer sell the Pendant to new customers. Pendant, a lightweight AI wearable remembers what the user says throughout the day. It supports over a 100 languages and also provides smart summaries of conversations.</p><p>Siroker also highlighted that customer data will remain safe whether they choose to continue using the pendant or not. Customers will also have the option to delete their data.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Meta’s Consumer Wearable Push</h2><p>Earlier this week, it was reported that Meta <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/meta-snatches-apple-s-top-interface-designer-to-lead-new-ai-design-push/cLIgGkaRESb">hired</a> Apple’s longtime user-interface design head Alan Dye as it steps up its push into AI-enabled consumer hardware. Dye will reportedly join Meta as chief design officer on Dec. 31. Meta Acquires AI Wearables Startup Limitless AI

Lithium prices should move up through the year, which should be a positive driver for Albemarle shares, the analyst told investors in a research note. UBS now sees a lithium supply deficit in the second half of 2026.</p><p>Lithium prices have been aided by an increase in demand from the rise of electric vehicles and large-scale battery storage. Lithium spot prices are now more than 50% above a June low.</p><p>During the company’s earnings call in November, CEO Kent Masters said that overall demand for lithium remains “robust.”</p><p>“Overall demand for lithium remains robust, up more than 30% year-to-date, supported by the energy transition and rising global demand for electric vehicles and grid storage,” the CEO said.</p><p>According to data from Koyfin, 18 of 26 analysts covering Albemarle have a ‘Hold’ rating on the stock. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Under the DOJ resolution, the companies will divest two natural gas plants, York 2 in Pennsylvania and Jack Fusco in Texas.</li><li>The companies had already offered to divest four of Calpine’s power plants in the Mid-Atlantic region as part of a separate agreement with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.</li><li>The acquisition, involving both stock and cash payments, would create the country’s largest power fleet.</li></ul><p>Constellation (CEG) on Friday said that it has cleared the final regulatory step to complete the $16.4 billion acquisition of Calpine Corporation announced earlier this year in a bid to create the country’s largest power fleet.</p><p>The company <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.constellationenergy.com/newsroom/2025/12/constellation-reaches-resolution-with-us-department-of-justice-for-calpine-transaction.html">said</a> that it has reached a resolution with the U.S. Department of Justice on the conditions required to complete the acquisition.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">The Settlement</h2><p>As part of the resolution, Constellation has agreed to divest multiple assets including York 2, a 828-megawatt natural gas-fired, combined-cycle plant in Pennsylvania, as well as the Jack Fusco Energy Center, a 605-megawatt natural gas fired combined cycle facility located outside Houston, Texas.</p><p>The company also agreed to divest a minority ownership interest in the Gregory Power Plant, a 385-megawatt natural gas-fired combined cycle near Corpus Christi, Texas. Constellation expects to receive attractive value for the sale of the assets. Constellation and Calpine can begin to close the transaction once the court has signed the stipulation and order agreed to by them and DOJ.</p><p>DOJ said that the settlement resolves the Antitrust division’s concerns that the acquisition would harm competition and lead to higher prices on consumers reliant on the ERCOT and PJM electricity grids.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Previous Divestment Commitments</h2><p>The company received necessary regulatory approvals from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the New York Public Service Commission and the Public Utility Commission of Texas earlier. The companies had already offered to divest four of Calpine’s power plants in the Mid-Atlantic region as part of a separate agreement with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.</p><p>The acquisition involves both stock and cash payments.Together, Constellation and Calpine will have nearly 60 gigawatts of capacity from zero- and low-emission sources, including nuclear, natural gas, geothermal, hydro, wind, solar, cogeneration and battery storage, the companies said in January.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">How Did Stocktwits Users React?</h2><p><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CEG">CEG shares</a> closed down 3% on Friday.
