$ALM I didn’t hear anything new in the investor day talk. The sound quality was bad but the message was consistent with previous guidance. More than just ALM tanking in the metals sector today. I see the same selling in REMX and other mining tickers. There is a lot of uncertainty in the market right now regarding energy, interest rates and politics. Capital is sitting out of high cost sectors sensitive to interest rates for the time being. The good news is in the micro. Almonty is not broken, they are tracking very well with Sangdong and other projects. But cash flows take time. Until it is proven stock will be highly volatile. Until then I anticipate macro capital to flow back into beaten down hard assets again like they did in August. I cannot predict when, but perhaps the clarity of midterms concluding will help. In the meantime I will keep patient knowing that as fast as this stock goes down it can just as easily go up.

$ALM Sangdong is expected to make first shipment this weekend. My guess is 100 bags (6500 mtu), each bag worth ~$150K. Maybe I’m wrong maybe it’s only 75 or even just 50 bags. Regardless, it proves they did it. So what happens to all the critics when Almonty announces this success. I think today was a liquidity flush, maybe tomorrow it will continue. IDK for certain, but I think smart money knows what’s coming. Flush out weak hands today watch it shoot for the moon tomorrow.

$ALM Kind of funny how I manage to step into these things just as the bottom falls out. Ah well. Easy come, easy go. In it til zero or when they get some respect.

$ALM You can not twist or manipulate SP forever, the production, revenue and profit are growing rapidly and steadily regardless of the parallel development of 2nd phase and axide plant,Moly, Ruwanda,Spanish projects.

$ALM Hasn’t been this oversold for 3 years. Putting micro/macro aside looking solely a technicals the high volume today suggests capitulation. Weak hands have been washed out. With -10% change from last close the uptick rule is in effect. Short sellers will not be able to aggressively short down the price tomorrow. This should (no guarantee) trigger a relief rally tomorrow. Whether that develops into a sustained reversal depends on if institutional buyers stepping in or not. Looking similar to July 29th at the moment.

$ALM Almonty’s latest shareholder update marks an important transition from development story to operating producer. Sangdong has already produced its first tungsten concentrate, with material ready for export, while the processing plant is currently operating 13 hours per day, seven days a week, and is expected to move toward continuous 24/7 operations. Approximately 4.6 months of ore feed is already stockpiled, providing a solid basis for the ramp-up. At the same time, Phase II development has begun, targeting up to 1.2 million tonnes of annual throughput and potentially more than 460,000 MTU of tungsten production per year. More than 90% of Phase I production is contracted under long-term agreements. Combined with the ongoing share buyback, additional projects in Spain and Rwanda, and future molybdenum potential, Almonty is building a diversified Western critical-minerals platform.

$ALM What I find difficult to understand is the timing of the selling. Many Almonty investors waited roughly 3.5 years through construction, capex and project development, only to exit 4–5 weeks before Sangdong entered production. Economically, this is precisely when the investment thesis transitions from development toward revenue and cash-flow generation. The relevant metrics now become output, recovery rates, operating costs, margins and free cash flow. Compared with established tungsten players such as $CMCL, $WOLF and $EQX, Almonty is only beginning to demonstrate its earnings potential. If the ramp-up progresses as planned, future quarters should increasingly reflect operational performance rather than construction expenditure. The development phase is ending; the cash-generation phase is beginning. Does anyone have a plausible explanation for why so many investors chose to exit at exactly this stage? 🚀🚀🚀

Whatever happens in the short term, I believe the really exciting phase for $ALM is only beginning. As production ramps up, the coming quarters should increasingly reveal Almonty’s true earnings and cash-flow potential. If management delivers on its production targets and tungsten prices remain supportive, there could be plenty of earnings-day celebrations over the next few years. While major mining names such as $FCX, $RIO, $BHP and $SCCO demonstrate what strong commodity cycles can do for cash generation, Almonty offers a much more concentrated exposure to tungsten. My personal long-term target remains $30+ for $ALM. Under a successful ramp-up scenario, I see that level as increasingly achievable. Short-term volatility doesn’t change my long-term thesis.

$ALM ALM is down about 6.36 percent, near 9.20. This is a very volatile stock, so a move like this isn't unusual. One data page I saw put its annualized volatility near 97 percent. The longer term story is what keeps people watching. The Sangdong mine in South Korea began processing on July 1, which turned Almonty from a developer into a producer, and first quarter revenue grew 221 percent to 25.4 million. On the policy side, the Pentagon is set to bar Chinese tungsten from U.S. military equipment starting January 1, 2027. The flip side is that ramping a new mine takes time and the stock can swing hard on sentiment in between. I'm watching tungsten prices and any production updates. Follow me for more on the critical minerals names.

$ALM Any reason for today's weakness? Looks like short interest decreased. They must be covering. I guess people are worried about this quarter. Who cares if they started selling late in the quarter? You own this stock for the multi year ramp, not this quarter

$ALM it just hit the 50/200 cross last week on the YTD chart. Not sure it’s a great short term buy right now but gonna start a position today in my long term portfolio and continue to buy if it keeps falling. I feel confident once the cross happens on the upside it will be a quick rise back to the teens. It may bounce around and have multiple crosses but that will also be a good sign that the consolidation for a bottom is in

$ALM can someone please explain what the fuck actually happened during the meeting? I started listening half way and didn’t hear anything negative. It was all positive.

$ALM Stifel also initiated a report today with a $25 target price Stifel initiated coverage of Almonty (ALM) with a Buy rating and $25 price target The global tungsten mine operator has recently started Phase I commercial production at its Sangdong, South Korea mine and is also expanding production at its Panasqueira mine, which would result in the company leading Western Tungsten production by the end of 2028, the analyst tells investors. Tungsten prices are up about 775% since the start of 2025 as China’s export controls have structurally changed the market, notes the analyst, who sees long-term upside from the development of additional assets and the build out of a downstream tungsten oxide facility.

$ALM I was listening John Feneck recently and he is very bulish on tungsten. Interestingly, he mentions different prospect miners in his interviews but never Almonty. I wonder why. I understand that his investing strategy might be prospects and juniors but to never mention Almonty in his interviews is strange
