This will take market share and kill AXTI's margins. AXTI is not a high margin software business, even though it trades like one right now. When it gets re-rated down to actually account for the fact that it is a materials company with compressing margins, the stock will get cut in half from here. Actually, it could get cut in half in one day if China decides to favor a state owned actor and stops issuing permits for AXTI - this is a real risk and being long this stock should be avoided.

$AXTI They don't understand that if US restricts, China will restrict. LITE is going up but AXTI will eventually go down. If AXTI goes down then LITE will likely go down right after. Give them room to run so that they have room to fall. I seen this go up to $140 and go right down to $36. I expect it go even lower the next time it falls hard. I am actually waiting to earnings as I expect a lot of misses.

$AXTI Don't trust the Chinese. This AXTI is going to revert to the sub $2B market value that it deserves when China restricts licenses. This is a $25 stock next year. Today's $5.6B value is absurb for this little company. You'll see.
