Costco opened at $986 today, slipped to $985.01, and buyers carried it to $995.53 by the close, up 0.65 percent, and what that means is simple. The Friday low at $980.67 still sits underneath as a real floor, price is pressing back toward the $1008.37 high from October 15, and this swing setup has a clear road beyond that high toward the yearly high if buyers keep showing up. If price closes under $980.67 that floor has given way and you step aside, plain and simple. P.S. Watch $1000 and then $1008.37 this week. A close over that October 15 high would show buyers are pushing again, not just holding the floor.

Costco jumped to $1008.37 on Thursday, slipped back to $977.24, and buyers lifted it to a $989.11 close on Friday, up 4.5 percent in five sessions. What that means is simple. The pullback found buyers twice at almost the same ground, so the floor sits close under us, the road back to that Thursday high and then the $1096.50 yearly high stays open, and a close under $977 tells you the floor gave way and you step aside. P.S. Earnings land on December 10, after these calls end. Watch $1000 on Monday, the round number just under the Thursday high.
