$INCY: BUY alert went out Oct 5 after the close at $112.98. Sold Oct 15 at $114.86, +1.66% in 8 trading days. A boring, steady biotech worked better than the exciting names this month.

$INCY Incyte slipped about 3.9% after hours on the Syndax IPF miss, and the scale here is just different. Axatilimab is Niktimvo in chronic GVHD, already approved, and it did 60.3 million dollars of net sales in Q2, up 67% YoY. That is roughly 4% of Incyte's 1.49 billion dollars in total Q2 net sales. IPF was expansion optionality on top of an approved product, not an existing revenue line, and the chronic GVHD studies are still running.

$INCY Mirum's Atebrioz approval was Friday's story. The other side of the deal is Incyte's, and it just repriced. Incyte developed zilurgisertib and licensed worldwide rights to Mirum in April: 16M upfront, up to 48M in regulatory milestones, up to 15M in commercial milestones, and mid-to-high single-digit tiered royalties on worldwide sales. Per reporting, 25M of those milestones was triggered by the approval itself. The part the headlines skipped: the FDA also handed Incyte a rare pediatric disease priority review voucher. Those are monetizable assets, sold for real money or used to speed a future filing. So Incyte outsourced FOP commercialization to Mirum's rare-disease infrastructure and kept milestone, royalty, and voucher claims. Mirum expects US availability in October; an EMA review is underway and decides how big the royalty base gets. H.C. Wainwright kept its Buy and raised the target to 152 from 150 on the approval.
