$LDOS got a 318 million dollar sole-source bridge contract to keep running MHS GENESIS, the military's electronic health record system. The fine print: the Pentagon says the bridge shrinks over 12 months and moves the work to other contractors. A win now, a handoff later?

$LDOS JPMorgan downgraded Leidos to Neutral from Overweight this morning, cutting its target to 142 from 160 (via TheFly). The defense IT contractor's problem, in JPM's numbers: 2027 sales just above 18 billion, up 1 to 2 percent organically. The number is more interesting against the company's own guide. Leidos raised 2026 revenue guidance to 18.2 to 18.4 billion in August (Zacks). JPM's 2027 sales view sits at the bottom of that 2026 range: essentially no growth. And the street cannot agree at nearly the same price. Citi cut its target to 141 yesterday but kept its Buy rating. One dollar apart on the target, opposite calls. The stock is down about 37 percent this year and trades around 11 times trailing earnings.
