THIS IS IT - THIS IS JUST THE START OF THE NATIONWIDE ROLL OUT! $ROOT, powering Hyundai's Secure+ Insurance product, is now LIVE at 14 Arizona Hyundai dealerships! Every new lease or purchase in AZ comes with 6 months of $ROOT insurance at no cost! This is an incredible way to get people instantly introduced to $ROOT and put them behind the wheel with $ROOT as their insurer from day one. They get 6 months to experience the product, pricing, and telematics firsthand - once that free period ends, $ROOT has already established the relationship and has an opportunity to retain them as a long-term policyholder. Great find ! h/t

$ROOT Hyundai Secure+ officially approved as a trademark as of 10/16. Doubt on this relationship is gone.

Those losses happened while $ROOT was building and scaling the business. The market already knows about them, and that history is already reflected in the current valuation. What matters for an investor buying today is from here going forward. Can $ROOT sustain profitability? Can earnings grow? Can it generate capital, improve underwriting and grow without giving up those margins? The answer is a resounding "YES!" A company's historical losses don't prevent it from becoming a profitable business today. The question isn't how much $ROOT lost in the past, it's what the business can earn from here. Keep trying to make up stupid reasons to make noise.

$ROOT The new Carvana warrant extortion could be disaster for Q3 er. The warrant expense may crush earnings. As these were gifted already close to in the money as opposed to the original warrants with some exercising at over $500, the warrant expense could be quite large. Ad spend seems to be increasing again, they stated premium prices will be cut, competition is getting worse, and there's the little inflation problem. All of those point to potentially dismal earnings. But keep up your blind faith Tooties. says Timmy is going to a "conference". That will save them!

$ROOT The genius speaks again! This company with ~350 million in net tangible assets should trade at a market cap of $570 million. Oh, and yes, they are earning 100 million net income+ per year! High intellect moves for sure. Go ahead and short it, spend that 10% on margin per year to get burned

$ROOT Looks like is the only one that thinks the silly Hyundai deal is good. The market sure the fuck doesn't think it's good.

$ROOT Technicals are investing horoscopes. If PIF increased 30,000 this quarter, would it matter if the 50 DMA crossed the hundred day or whatever? No it would not. Even if you assume 0 profit for Q4, with Q3 likely being in the territory of 30 million net income you are looking at annual EPS of $6. PE ratio is 7

$ROOT this actually helps investors now because they can deduct past losses against future earnings without paying the tax liability until profits exceed past losses.

$ROOT Welcome to Timm's house of horrors. The price will drop below $40 by Q3, and after Q3 we are heading back to $30, whether you like it or not. No one will be left here after that, and that's the whole point. Good luck everyone ;-)

$ROOT Did anybody watch the Chiefs & Colts game last night? Did you see the ROOT commercial? When my alarm clock went off this morning, I woke up to a ROOT commercial on the radio. We will see.

$ROOT Think what you want, but it's absolutely obvious we're heading below $40 after Q3. It's simply too early and everything is just slowly getting off the ground. That's why there's zero buying pressure at these current prices. Progressive is trading at a 10 P/E today. If the trailing EPS is around $4 and the P/E is 10, we are comfortably sitting under $40. Are you guys going to buy then?

$ROOT Nice to see market not reacting yet to Hyundai partnership. Gives my other investments time to bear fruit, profit and buy more Root.

$ROOT The good news keeps falling into place like pieces of a puzzle. And yet, apparently nobody got the memo. I’ll admit, it’s frustrating.

$ROOT People said root growth was dead at the flat PIF a year ago. It then added 15,000+ PIF a quarter up until this last quarter. There are stalled growth large insurers selling at 10 PE ratio. If root can get $3 EPS between the next two quarters the annual EPS is $7 and PE ratio would be 50% lower than comparable companies

$ROOT I happened to spot this yesterday while browsing the HCA website. Of course, it’s great news. But I don’t see it as a nationwide rollout yet. I interpret it as an initial field test of the CVNA setup in an OEM context. This trial ends on January 4, 2027. Hyundai is making a substantial upfront commitment: they’ve done the administrative and trademark groundwork, they’re providing staff, and they’re covering the insurance premiums for the first six months to gather enough data to determine the next steps. That’s a huge commitment. But I wouldn’t call it the start of a nationwide rollout just yet. Don't get me wrong. I'm also very happy 😃

$ROOT something real fishy going on with the price, almost like being artificially pinned down as we had seen back in 2022-2023. Big boys are loading up again.
