SpaceXs quarterly results and outlook are driving attention, with traders focused on rapid AI-compute growth, a return to profitability and plans for heavy infrastructure spending. Bulls see the results as evidence of an expanding AI business, while skeptics question the valuation, cash demands and potential share-unlock pressure; preliminary Tesla merger discussions add another speculative theme.

Netflix Inc.

Netflix Inc

Netflix shares are under pressure after its quarterly profit beat expectations, but a softer fourth-quarter outlook and slowing revenue growth overshadowed the results; the company also lowered its advertising revenue forecast. Bears see growth and ad execution as key concerns, while bulls argue the selloff overstates the risk given the profitable quarter and share buybacks.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. engages in the distribution and manufacture of information technology solutions and other computer products. Its products include twin solutions, MP servers, GPU and coprocessor, MicroCloud, AMD solutions, power supplies, SuperServer, storage, motherboards, chassis, super workstations, accessories, SuperRack and server management products. Super Micro Computer Inc

Super Micros preliminary fiscal Q1 update sharply raised its sales outlook and projected improved gross margins, citing stronger AI-platform demand. Bulls welcomed the upside surprise and speculated about short covering, while skeptics questioned whether the gains and improved margins would hold.

It operates through the following segments: Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Compute & Networking. The Graphics segment includes GeForce GPUs for gaming and PCs, the GeForce NOW game streaming service and related infrastructure, Quadro and NVIDIA RTX GPUs for enterprise workstation graphics, virtual GPU, or vGPU, software for cloud-based visual and virtual computing, automotive platforms for infotainment systems, and Omniverse Enterprise software for building and operating metaverse and 3D internet applications. NVIDIA Corp

Reported Chinese orders for Nvidias export-compliant GPUs are renewing discussion of strong AI-chip demand, though traders are frustrated that the news has not translated into a stronger share-price response. SELLAS Life Sciences Group Inc

SELLAS shares sharp rebound has traders focused on the anticipated 80th-event trigger and final analysis of its Phase 3 REGAL AML trial, with some also speculating about a buyout. The event count and trial results remain unconfirmed; bullish expectations of a major catalyst are countered by skepticism that the move is trading momentum without new data.

Bloom Energy Corp. engages in the manufacture and installation of a solid oxide fuel-cell based power generation platform. Its product, Bloom Energy Server, converts standard low-pressure natural gas or biogas into electricity through an electrochemical process without combustion. The company was founded by K. R. Sridhar, John Finn, Jim McElroy, Matthias Gottmann, and Dien Nguyen on January 18, 2001, and is headquartered in San Jose, CA.

Bloom Energy Corp - Ordinary Shares - Class A

Bloom Energys upcoming Q3 earnings are the main focus, with traders debating whether results and guidance can justify its premium valuation after a sharp, volatile pullback. Bulls point to fuel-cell demand from AI data centers and recent power-project deals, while skeptics warn that expectations are high and the broader AI selloff could keep shares under pressure.

CorMedix, Inc. is a pharmaceutical and medical device company, which engages in the development and commercialization of therapeutic products for the prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions. The company was founded by Antony E. Pfaffle on July 28, 2006 and is headquartered in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

CorMedix Inc

Traders are focused on potential DefenCath reimbursement upside after the HHS kidney-care plan highlighted barriers to financing dialysis innovation, which they see as support for CorMedixs request for a separate infection-prevention payment category. CMS action remains uncertain, and the discussion also weighs DefenCaths adoption and pricing against competition; REZZAYOs FDA priority review is another cited growth catalyst.

Retail Turns ‘Bearish’ On Paramount Stock After Report Of Skydance’s Threat Over Bronfman Deal Talks

Bullish Sentiment

Shares of Paramount Global (PARA) experienced a slight uptick on Friday following a <a href="https://www.wsj.com/business/media/skydance-demands-that-paramount-stops-negotiating-with-bronfman-766f2e1f">media report</a> that said Skydance Media, an initial suitor for the company, is demanding that Paramount cease its deal negotiations with Edgar Bronfman Jr.The news has led to a significant shift in retail sentiment on Stocktwits, with PARA's sentiment turning ‘bearish’ (26/100) from ‘bullish’ in just a day.<figure class="image"><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/PARA"><img style="aspect-ratio:1310/316;" src="https://st-everywhere-cms-prod.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/PARA_sentiment_and_message_volume_Aug_23_premarket_799befb4e3.png" alt="PARA sentiment and message volume Aug 23 premarket.png" width="1310" height="316"></a><figcaption>PARA sentiment and message volume Aug 23</figcaption></figure>Skydance's move stems from Paramount's extension of the "go-shop" deadline to Sept. 5, a move that Skydance reportedly argues violates the terms of their existing takeover agreement.In a letter from its lawyers, Skydance stated that while they are not currently exercising their right to terminate the agreement, they reserve the option to do so in the future.Paramount's decision to extend the deadline came after it received Bronfman's revised $6 billion offer for National Amusements and a minority stake in the entertainment giant.Skydance, however, reportedly contends that Bronfman's bid is not superior and therefore does not justify the extended deadline.David Ellison's company, Skydance, had previously agreed to a deal with Shari Redstone worth more than $8 billion, involving the acquisition of National Amusements and the merger of Skydance with Paramount.Bronfman, on the other hand, is arguing that <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news/markets/equity/paramount-stock-trends-at-top-on-bronfman-bid/c7voFkDRTt">his proposal</a> is more attractive as it would result in less dilution for non-Redstone shareholders of Paramount.On Stocktwits, popular posts from users on PARA's stream have leaned towards supporting Bronfman's bid over Ellison's.<stembedurl>https://stocktwits.com/EddieAStocks/message/583919785</stembedurl>Some users have highlighted the significant dilution that would occur under Ellison's plan while noting the financial backing Bronfman has secured from prominent investors.<stembedurl>https://stocktwits.com/ronirona/message/583883996</stembedurl>Bronfman's investor group reportedly includes Fortress Investment Group, Jeff Ubben's Inclusive Capital Partners, and, according to Reuters, has removed cryptocurrency entrepreneur Brock Pierce and Kazakhstan investor Nurali Aliyev.PARA's stock has faced challenges this year, losing over 20%, as consumer viewing habits shift towards streaming services.Earlier this month, Paramount reported an 11% drop in total revenue in the second quarter and expects a $300 million to $400 million restructuring charge in the third quarter.Following Paramount's Q2 report, Citigroup lowered its price target on the stock to $13 from $14 while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating. Citi noted that while earnings beat market expectations, revenue fell short.&nbsp;See Also: <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news/markets/equity/cava-stock-sees-highest-jump-in-retail-watchers-after-earnings/c7vD9hhRcg">CAVA Stock’s Retail Following Jumps Most After Upbeat Q2 Results, But Sentiment ‘Bearish’</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;
