$SMMT — Another major ivonescimab collaboration just dropped. Summit is working with AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo to evaluate ivonescimab alongside the TROP2 ADC Datroway across multiple tumor types. That’s on top of AstraZeneca’s recent $2B investment in Summit and the Nov. 14 FDA decision approaching. Ivonescimab is quickly becoming one of the more interesting oncology assets to follow.

$SMMT Assuming SMMT closes today above yesterday’s closing price of $17.31, that will makes 6 of 7 days since the $2B AZ equity investment and trial collaboration was announced, that the day’s closing price has been above the prior day’s closing price. Since that announcement, the first 4 days closed in the $16’s and the following 2 days closed in the $17’s. Today has 30 minutes to go and the stock is currently trading at currently at $17.94 (above yesterday’s closing price). The Q2 earning call occurs in 8 trading days, and the FDA BLA decision is just 27 trading days away; and HARMONi-3, assuming results are presented before the end of the year (two firms wrote in July that they thought timelines could slip into early 2027), is just 59 trading days from today. Will institutions continue to scale into a new or higher positions prior to the earnings call and/or the BLA decision, setting higher lows every few days. Let’s hope so, because that’s the right direction. Long.

AstraZeneca’s $2B strategic investment, today’s proposal to increase authorized common shares to 2 billion, expanding oncology collaborations, and a broadening Phase III pipeline all point toward management building the capital structure and foundation necessary to potentially become a major global oncology company.

They are privvy to EVERYTHING Smmt has on and off the books. Having backing of AZN here within 45 days of FDA approval is genius and shows the confidence they have in it getting approved. No FDA approval will probably tank the stock to sub $10 which means they lose $1,000,000,000 in 45 days. Im sorry but people smarter than any of us looked at all the data and said Ivo has a great chance at being approved.

$SMMT As a reminder: Bob Duggan (SMMT Co-CEO) led Pharmacyclics from 2008–2015. In those ~7 years he turned the company around with ibrutinib (Imbruvica), which got FDA approval in 2013, and sold it to AbbVie for ~$21B for $216 a share. When he took over the stock was at $2. He’s said his son’s death from brain cancer is part of why he got into oncology. SMMT’s HARMONi results showed very strong brain mets response; which hopefully will be one of several factors why FDA approves on/before Nov 14. Long.

$SMMT Prior to Nov 14th FDA BLA decision, there are two other key dates: 1) Earnings call (Oct 19, tentative) Investors may hear updates on new trial initiations, partnerships, financial runway, enrollment progress, and critically whether HARMONi‑3 final PFS / interim OS will be presented in Q4 2026 or early 2027. Summit could also potentially signal interest in a Phase III BTC program, given emerging data (see below). 2) ESMO Presidential Symposium (Oct 25) Akeso will present overall survival (OS) results from its Phase III biliary tract cancer (BTC) trial. BTC is a high‑mortality cancer, and a very difficult one to treat, so a statistically significant, clinically meaningful OS win is a major achievement. Regulators will view this favorably when Summit submits future BLA/sBLA filings, because FDA evaluates the totality of evidence across all ivonescimab trials, regardless of indication. Long.

$SMMT Wild to think a little nobody can buy shares of this company on the open market right now for a lower price than a sophisticated big pharmaceutical company just agreed to pay. For all the breathless talk of the market being rigged against the little guy, it’s somewhat surprising to me that opportunities like this are allowed to exist longer than a minute.

$SMMT — Hard to overlook a $2B strategic investment from AstraZeneca while ivonescimab is approaching another major regulatory milestone.

$SMMT strong belief that this was manipulated very hard. I also understand that shorts have 6.6 days to cover. I know people wanna see huge gains but this is a slow simmer trapping shorts. Price over $18-20 is a shorts nightmare to cover. Anything above $24 they will never be able to cover quick enough to exit. Slow and steady the bulls will win the race.
