I genuinely believe one of the most detrimental things you can do to your trading success is establish a mandatory daily profit target. The moment you convince yourself that you HAVE to make a certain amount of money every day, you’re setting yourself up to overtrade, force opportunities in unfavorable conditions, and give profits back to the market.
As a full time trader, some days there’s absolutely nothing worth trading. Other days, opportunities are everywhere, and you’re banking left and right. That’s simply the nature of this business.
You take what the market gives you, respect the conditions, and adjust accordingly. Your responsibility is to execute with discipline, not force profitability. The market doesn’t care about your financial objectives, and it certainly isn’t obligated to meet them. Learn to operate on its terms, not yours. $SPRC $DRMA $SNES $ESLA $WETO
