$SPRU Elon Musk just doubled down on his solar thesis, saying “Solar is so obviously the future” and that the solar-power exponential could eventually push other energy sources to less than 0.1%. Now look at $SPRU a U.S. distributed-solar owner/operator with 83,000 home solar assets and customer contracts across 18 states, 802M in gross portfolio value, $81.5M in cash/restricted cash, and record $26.5M Q2 operating EBITDA. If solar becomes one of the dominant energy sources AND the market starts properly valuing small-cap solar infrastructure, has the ingredients for a massive rerating. Solar + AI power demand + distributed generation + tiny market cap = deserves attention. $TE $SHLS

$SPRU people will complain later why they didn't get on this early. This is the perfect time to get in on the Solar train before they start to leave the station. SPRU is gonna keep going higher in coming weeks.

$SPRU Insiders buying. There is a reason it can jump: a Form 4 / 13D/A hit this afternoon. SP Strategic Holdings (Steel Partners) bought 52,780 shares at $2.04 from director Ja-Chin Audrey Lee on Monday. They’re at 3.48M shares, ~18.1%. It is still bullish. They know the refinance is next month. Meteoric run. Buy now or cry later.

$SPRU Big money is able to push this small cap around at will. They ran it up to $7 six months ago after letting it sit around $1.50 to accumulate a boat load of shares. Looks like they are doing the same thing again, be ready for the ride to take off soon.

$SPRU What attracts me is the underlying financial improvement. Q2 produced $3.3M of net income, $26.5M of Operating EBITDA, and $4.8M of adjusted cash flow from operations. Operating expenses fell 16% YoY, and the company paid down another $7.9M of debt. Meanwhile, it had $44.7M unrestricted cash and $81.5M including restricted cash.

$SPRU Just know last time we had this much momentum this went to near 7s. I think we can achieve the same this time.

Watching for 1.85/2.00 on $SPRU to become support, adding all dips. Then 2.25 to break and hold, over that clear skies to $2.5/2.75/3.25 and much more with news / updates and a full fledged energy / solar theme $TE $ENPH $SHLS $NXT

$SPRU Ready to rocket as the refinance date is upon us. We just spent a week getting raided and the big holder still bought the dip. This stub is coiled into the refinance window and the sellers already showed their hand. There won’t be many shares left to sell.

$SPRU $802M gross solar portfolio value. This alone should bring the market cap easily 3-4x higher.

$SPRU Can we start a genuine discussion here on what's going on? The current market cap of $30 mills is a joke compared to the cash in the bank. Remember all debt is project-level and non-recourse. The only un-resolved issue is the re-financing, which I don't see as a major risk. The company is likely looking into get a better deal on financing terms. Plus steel partners recent bought shares at above $2. I am seriously considering adding big time to my position here. Would welcome ideas from both longs and shorts here.
