$VERU WestPark Capital initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a massive $28 PT, calling the stock "substantially undervalued." The firm highlights lead asset enobosarm as having found its true lane: adjunctive therapy alongside GLP-1s (Wegovy) to prevent lean muscle loss and boost fat reduction in older patients, unlocking a huge addressable market. I hold a small tactical position.

$VERU Takeaway from today's Novo CMD. Stock dropped over 7% after Novo spent an entire day laying out it's complete new corporate strategy, so that's a really big waste of Powerpoint slides. They emphasized trying to recapture their GLP lead by strongly focusing on oral, offering differentiated glp/obesity options, and a strong emphasis on expanding DTC into different areas. They also specifically noted muscle loss as an issue with consumers, and mentioned maintenance as another area to explore. Bad news for Veru, they have a potential muscle drug in development. Good news, it's in first human drug phase. So Veru fits all of their areas of emphasis, particularly the focus on expanding DTC into other areas(but not OTC drugs). There aren't many non-OTC drugs, other than GLPs, that you can sell directly to consumers- except Enobosarm. You can sell it with your GLP prescription, and after you discontinue GLPs for maintenance. Hey, Novo. I have some Powerpoint slides you can borrow.

$VERU The rate at which NVO is sinking, the higher the probability they will acquire VERU after interim readout. NVO CEO is under breakneck pressure to turn the sinking ship or resign. My bet is VERU trades at $20 if it aces the interim readout, at which point NVO will go for the kill. If NVO doesn't, someone else will.

Oppenheimer reiterated its Outperform rating on Veru and maintained its $24 price target, reaffirming confidence in enobosarm, the company’s lead obesity-treatment candidate, ahead of a key clinical data update. The analyst expects an interim analysis of the Phase 2b PLATEAU trial, which evaluates enobosarm in combination with semaglutide, to show significant preservation of lean body mass and greater fat loss compared with semaglutide alone. Positive findings could substantially reduce investment risk ahead of the full primary data readout expected in Q4 2027. The trial is fully enrolled with 239 patients, exceeding its original target of 200 participants. Veru also holds a key U.S. patent covering enobosarm and semaglutide combination regimens, with protection expected to extend at least through October 2044, potentially strengthening the program’s long-term commercial positioning. $VERU

$VERU Hallway conversations overheard at EASD Roche: ‘We discontinued our injectable muscle drug trial.’ Veru: ‘We have one, and it’s oral!’ Regeneron: ‘Whoopee! Our trevogrumab trial combined with Semaglutide saved 50% more muscle!’ Veru: ‘We saved 100% muscle..and again.. oral’ Regeneron: ‘..but now we’re running a trial with older patients, since muscle loss is worse with that group.’ Veru: ‘Been there, done that... Oral.’ Novo: “Our Cagrisema body composition trial showed- okay, still a lot of muscle loss, but it gives you really toned thighs!’ Veru: ‘Do we have to go over the ROFN again?’ Lilly: ‘Our Retatrude and eloralintide/tirzepatide trials both showed huge weight loss, up to 60 pounds.’ Veru: ’Congratulations, you also lost two Charlene Therons worth of muscle!’ Veru waiting for someone to call. Veru: ‘Maybe they sent a text. Mitch, check your phone!… What do you mean Consumer Cellular doesn’t have an internet plan.’

$VERU Lilly and Novo are moving hard into longevity. Recent Lilly and Novo studies have shown that GLPs can add years to your life. But for older patients, losing weight can improve cardiovascular outcomes significantly, but you can also lose muscle and bone which can lead to falls and potentially fatal bone fractures. That’s not a great tradeoff. Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a drug you could add to GLPs that protects muscle and bone. That could be a neat longevity tool in a category predicted to generate revenue of up to 250B by 2050. And this would certainly count as one of Novo’s promised ‘blockbuster’ drugs each year for the next 5 years. Anybody know of any drugs that can do this? Anybody?

$VERU surprised no one from VERU is circulating the Peter Attia article. He is world renowned longevity Dr and had nothing good to say about Amylins and mentioned positives things on Enobosarm.

$VERU believed in this drug from the very beginning and have been in the stock for two years. My problem is Mitch Steiner. This is another Corey Fishman situation GOOD molecule in the hands of an egotistical inexperienced CEO Who is definitely leaning towards the Joe Biden dementia side of things: just go listen to the guy- he can’t land the plane and give nice tight sound bites-I’m also super skeptical of old men that live in Florida and say they’re running a biotech- why aren’t you in Boston South San Francisco San Diego you need to be where the serious companies are but no, you’re in Florida probably for the early bird dinner specials- I’m sure he’s a perfectly fine urologist- it may being in Florida for that type of practice makes sense. Doctor DNA is not the same as CEO DNA and I think this guy has an ego, is stubborn and he’s going to bungle any offers he’s been receiving because he doesn’t know how to tactically manage that kind of a negotiation-ITRM 2.0

$VERU no one will touch Attia anymore. His reputation was ruined by emails sent and received between him and Jeffrey Epstein. One of the most offensive things he said was that he could vouch that pu&&y was “indeed low carb”. I encourage you to look up the scandal that happened in February. I just don’t think you come back from wishing you could get invites to Jeffrey Epstein parties but she also know your son has one month old is in the ICU and you decide to stay in New York and hang out with Jeffrey Epstein..Attia is not a doctor that I would be trusting any information or comments he makes. He had to step down from a CBS position because people were outraged about the hire- they said it showed the network did not care about men who chase young girls and have parties filled with you women… not a good look

$VERU Ed acre is an ex HCWainright guy… west park focuses on lending companies money so his PT may be because he wants to lend Mitch money- money is an issue for VERU
