Originally created in 2013 by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a market parody, the project held no public sale or venture capital rounds. The network operates as a fork of LuckyCoin, which itself was a fork of Litecoin, using a proof of work consensus mechanism. It employs the Scrypt algorithm to ensure the mining process remains fast and efficient, with new blocks processed every 60 seconds. A unique technical feature is its use of merged mining, allowing miners to secure Dogecoin simultaneously with other Scrypt-based networks like Litecoin.  To keep transaction fees low and the network running indefinitely, Dogecoin features an uncapped supply where new coins are added forever. In a major regulatory milestone in March 2026, a joint SEC and CFTC framework officially classified Dogecoin as a digital commodity, placing it in the same asset category as gold or oil.

Key features include a built-in distributed exchange for trading assets without intermediaries and the Soroban platform for developing smart contracts. Users can also utilize the network for tokenizing real-world assets or accessing decentralized finance services like peer-to-peer lending.  Stellar's native token, XLM, is essential for maintaining network integrity by acting as an intermediary to find efficient exchange paths and preventing spam through small transaction fees and minimum account balance requirements. Unlike many other digital assets, the network has no inflation because the community voted to disable the automatic creation of new tokens. While the project received early funding from the payments company Stripe, it is now sustained by a global community of validators and developers rather than traditional venture capital.

The platform is owned and governed by a council of global innovators including Avery Dennison, Boeing, Deutsche Telekom, DLA Piper, FIS (WorldPay), Google, IBM, LG Electronics, Magalu, Nomura, Swirlds, Tata Communications, University College London (UCL), Wipro, and Zain Group.   The Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) acts as a trust layer for any application or permissioned network and allows for the creation of an immutable and verifiable log of messages. Application messages are submitted to the Hedera network for consensus, given a trusted timestamp, and fairly ordered. Use HCS to track assets across a supply chain, create auditable logs of events in an advertising platform, or even use it as a decentralized ordering service.

Hedera Hashgraph is receiving attention as traders debate the project's long-term utility in light of institutional developments, such as new Hedera Council members and tokenized real-world asset growth, versus significant frustration over persistent downward price action and the cancellation of planned ETF filings. Subsquid Network is an innovative decentralized data lake and query engine designed to offer developers performant and permissionless access to data, aiming to build a neutral and open internet rooted in Web3 principles. Secured by ZK proofs, the Subsquid network boasts a modular architecture that enables exceptional scalability and developer convenience optimized for blockchain indexing, dApp development, and analytics.  Subsquid is a response to unscalable and rigid monolithic indexing frameworks that had previously gained popularity and market traction among Web3 developers. Today, these frameworks are struggling to adapt in a rapidly evolving blockchain environment. Additionally, the network serves as a highly efficient and decentralized alternative to centralized infrastructure firms, including large RPC and API providers.

Attention is centered on the reported Google Cloud validation of Rezolve's proprietary database technology and its integration with Subsquid, which traders view as major infrastructure validation. While many are bullish on the potential for institutional adoption and long-term revenue scaling, some skeptics argue the news primary benefit is to Rezolve rather than the SQD token itself.

It is distinguished by a block generation time of 2.5 minutes, which allows for faster transaction confirmations and a higher total throughput than earlier protocols. Key technical features include the Scrypt hashing algorithm, which promotes wider network participation, and MimbleWimble Extension Blocks, which improve user privacy by allowing transaction details to be hidden.  The LTC token is used for settling global payments, executing microtransactions through smaller units called litoshis, and diversifying digital portfolios with a highly liquid asset. New tokens are issued to miners as rewards for verifying blocks, though these rewards undergo a halving event approximately every four years to strictly control inflation. This process ensures the ledger maintains immutability, meaning records cannot be changed once they are saved to the global network.  Created by former Google engineer Charlie Lee, the project is supported by the Litecoin Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ecosystem adoption. Unlike many venture-backed projects, it is maintained by a decentralized community of independent developers and a global network of miners. The project has seen recent institutional adoption, with entities like Lite Strategy and Luxxfolio Holdings adding significant amounts of LTC to their corporate treasuries as of late 2025.

Litecoin is trending as the community debates its long-term potential, with bulls pointing to technical indicators, low miner reserves, and high network uptime to argue the asset is significantly undervalued. Conversely, many traders express frustration over consistent underperformance relative to other cryptocurrencies, citing poor price action and stagnant ratios as reasons for skepticism.

Bonk is a dog-themed memecoin on the Solana blockchain, launched on Christmas Day 2022 to revitalize the Solana community following the FTX collapse. Created by an anonymous team of 22 Solana developers and builders, Bonk distributed 50% of its total 100 trillion token supply via airdrop to community members including NFT collectors, developers, and artists.   The project positions itself as "the first Solana dog coin for the people, by the people," explicitly rejecting venture capital backing in favor of grassroots community ownership. What sets Bonk apart from other memecoins is its combination of fair launch mechanics, extensive ecosystem integration, and active deflationary strategy.   Built on Solana, BONK benefits from fast transaction speeds and low fees that make it practical for everyday use. Native products include LetsBonk.fun (a memecoin launchpad that briefly became Solana's market leader in 2025, surpassing Pump.fun with over 78% market share), BonkSwap (a decentralized exchange) and BonkBot (a Telegram trading bot with built-in burn mechanics).   BONK is available across 10 blockchain networks and listed on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and Robinhood. Governance is handled by BonkDAO, which holds 15% of the token supply and makes decisions through on-chain voting.   The community has organized several major burn events, most notably the December 2024 BURNmas campaign that destroyed 1.69 trillion tokens worth over $50 million. In September 2025, Nasdaq-listed Safety Shot, Inc. formed BONK Holdings LLC and acquired over 2.5% of the circulating supply (valued at $55-63 million), making BONK one of the first memecoins to attract formal corporate treasury adoption. Core contributor Nom was appointed to Safety Shot's board, and the company holds a 10% revenue share in LetsBonk.fun.  As with all memecoins, BONK is a highly speculative asset with substantial volatility. Its value is primarily driven by community sentiment, social media momentum, and meme culture rather than traditional utility.   The anonymous team, while common in the memecoin space, means investors should exercise appropriate caution. Despite these risks, Bonk has established itself as one of the most successful community-driven tokens in the Solana ecosystem, approaching 1 million unique holders and expanding from a simple memecoin into meaningful DeFi infrastructure.

BONK is under heavy selling pressure and facing significant negative sentiment following reports of a 20 million dollar exploit of its DAO treasury. Traders are divided between those exiting their positions due to security concerns and others treating the sharp price drop as a buying opportunity.
