How do you feel about HIMX?

$HIMX After reading thru the release, the profit Kuo expected from CPO is just pushed out a little later than he thought. The revenue loss is a customer adjustment that Wu could not do anything about. I own Himax for Wise eye and CPO and that story is still intact.

$HIMX I am going to try and ask about an Obsidian update as well as how the 19 million dollar gain shows up on the bottom line (is it part of the dividend payout for 2026?).

$HIMX Morning selloff is a fantastic buying opportunity. Weak hands reacting too quickly will regret it later.

$HIMX wtf. Even with reduced demand there should be a supply shortage. It would great to hear about firm contract commitments.

$HIMX Samsung news is massive. Validates the evolution, validates the importance. Taiwan would defend a potential Samsung acquisition via regulatory roadblocks, or an equity investment from a major Taiwanese partner(s), easy to speculate too. That is not off the table and could play out, but probably not option 1 at the moment. Best case, and most probable, Samsung and Wu are working a supplier deal. They are exclusive gen 1 and 2, so currently the proven game in town. If they want to compete on timeline and quality, they need an agreement with Himx. This would be massive and return the stock to $20-25 almost immediately as all the speculation becomes validated and of course eps then is without question going to surge. Alibaba news completely ignored due to macro, and if the Apple partnership becomes uncovered say goodbye sub 20.

$HIMX earnings estimates ignore the bonuses pay out this quarter. without them, would be 7-11% q over q, and .16-.14, from previous q .11. that is very healthy, and the drop below 200 day two days ago, points to return to 12.59 with the wise eye news, and then possibly higher...I think it's a steal here, over 50% down from the 52 week...just an opinion as always....

$HIMX Today won't be pretty but could open the door for himx to increase against the soxx esp if good earnings call is expected. Good break outs are usually preceded by a move up in relative strength.

$HIMX HIMX Pre-Earnings Price Action Comparison The current price action is incredibly similar to the setup leading into its Q2 2026 earnings report: The Retrenchment Phase: Prior to the Q2 earnings release, HIMX consolidated around $13.40–$13.60 before rallying sharply past $25.00 over the next 4–5 weeks on solid top-line beat and double-digit QoQ guidance. Pre-Q3 Compression: Following that high-beta expansion, HIMX experienced standard post-peak profit-taking, pulling back to compress near local support floors ($11.50–$13.50 range) right ahead of its scheduled Q3 2026 earnings report on November 5, 2026. The Structural Setup: In both instances, the stock underwent an 8–10 week period of low-volume consolidation and margin digestion before entering earnings week—setting up the potential for another high-beta expansion cycle!

$HIMX I’ve posted these several times from Seeking Alpha showing both the positive seasonality for HIMX share price but also the 31% 2028 revenue growth and $2.45/share 2028 EPS since Yahoo Finance is not yet showing 2028.

$HIMX Microsoft’s decision to offer buyouts to up to 60,000 employees as part of its AI transition serves as a strong macro catalyst for HIMX. Substituting human overhead with enterprise-wide AI agents requires hyperscalers to drastically expand data center infrastructure, accelerating the shift toward ultra-low-power CPO and silicon photonics where Himax’s WLO technology holds valuable architectural IP. While hyperscaler enterprise AI adoption accelerates, Himax’s core revenue remains anchored in cash-generative automotive displays (~80%+ core), ensuring that broad tech infrastructure growth provides multi-year valuation upside without exposing the business to datacenter capital expenditure cycles.

$HIMX totally decimated. WTF is going on with this market? It's like an AI self fulfilling bubble burst based on no actual pullback in investment or other fundamental issues.

$HIMX honestly I don’t even know why I stock pick, it’s the gambler in me. Even when I pick a right one I’m never one when to get off

$HIMX “We believe the sharp decline in the fourth-quarter automotive forecasts reflects abrupt, short-term order adjustments by certain customers, while our market leader position remains firmly intact,” concluded Mr. Jordan Wu. Brutal. Wu has to prove this is a one quarter anomaly.

$HIMX Once more, for the 3rd straight day, we see bullish significant call option trading in HIMX before the trading day is even half over. And, most of the option action is for bullish November out of the money calls. But, the share price struggles to move positive. Why the disconnect? Or perhaps the disconnect is to continue to get lower prices on options and that the option buyers are so bullish about upcoming earnings and guidance that they want the leverage that options provide. Just keep in mind that option traders are not always correct on the direction of prices; but it is good to see bullish option trades. Now, once they get their full positions established, they should start to push the share price higher and make those option trades profitable.

$HIMX It did not register when I read the nr that alibaba has already started production on the qwen n1 series glasses. Normally these things are slated to start some time in 2525-if man is still alive. Let's get it on!

$HIMX 50 week moving average is 11.73. Will it hold or is it a pit stop back to single digits.

$HIMX Looks like the stock is close or sitting on nearly couple weeks of support where stock stalled on the way to 25. Bottoming here or maybe 12 for the final scare.

$HIMX hello Himax boys - anyone want to offer predictions? I suggest a light beat on revenues and EPS in Q3. I see a 12.5% sequential revenue increase and EPS of 11.5 cents. I expect 3-5% sequential revenue growth, 33% gross margin and 12-13 cents EPs in Q4. Others?

$HIMX GOOG is down big (8%) after hours and after reporting revenue and earnings which seem to have missed; but somewhat due to other ledger sheet issues like holding in other stocks (SPCX, Waymo, AI, etc.). Probably the biggest negative for those selling GOOG is their Capex investments into AI which they said would continue at higher levels through next year…and that should be good news for the chip stocks and other AI ‘pick and shovel’ stocks. GOOG reported 100% growth in the AI related businesses which is largely why they want to continue to invest in them. MSFT is up big after hours after beating and increasing forward guidance; but that is not preventing the overall NASDAQ pre-market average to decline. These are from Seeking Alpha reports on GOOG:
