A sharp semiconductor selloff is weighing on SOXL, with traders linking it to fears that the new congressional balance could bring tighter AI and data-center restrictions, alongside chip-sector weakness and concerns that the AI trade is unwinding. The community is split between expecting further losses and treating the decline as capitulation and a buying opportunity, while warning that SOXLs 3x leverage magnifies the swings.

Record quarterly results, expanding margins, and continued sales growth are driving discussion, though the stocks muted reaction frustrates bullish holders. Debate centers on whether improving commercial execution outweighs lingering concerns about lung-cancer data durability, the planned filing timeline, and managements communication.

QUALCOMM, Inc. engages in developing and commercializing foundational technologies and products used in mobile devices and other wireless products. It operates through the following segments: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL), and Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives (QSI). The QCT segment develops and supplies integrated circuits and system software based on technologies for use in voice and data communications, networking, application processing, multimedia, and global positioning system products. The QTL segment grants licenses and provides rights to use portions of the firm's intellectual property portfolio. The QSI segment focuses on opening new or expanding opportunities for its technologies and supporting the design and introduction of new products and services for voice and data communications. The company was founded by Franklin P. Antonio, Adelia A. Coffman, Andrew Cohen, Klein Gilhousen, Irwin Mark Jacobs, Andrew J. Viterbi, and Harvey P. White in July 1985 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.

Qualcomm, Inc.

Qualcomms quarterly report and outlook are driving the selloff: traders are focused on sharply weaker handset sales and margin pressure from rising component costs, despite modestly beating estimates. Some see growth in automotive, data center and the SpaceX partnership as a longer-term offset, while others argue diversification has not yet replaced the smartphone business.

Xeris Biopharma Holdings, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company, which engages in developing and commercializing products across a range of therapies. Its products include Gvoke, Keveyis, and Recorlev. Recorlev is a cortisol synthesis inhibitor approved for the treatment of endogenous hypercortisolemia in adult patients with Cushing’s syndrome. The company was founded by Steven Prestrelski in 2005 and is headquartered in Chicago, IL.

Xeris Biopharma Holdings Inc

A strong quarterly report, raised full-year revenue outlook, and managements view that Recorlev could reach blockbuster scale years earlier than expected are driving attention to XERS. Traders are celebrating the growth outlook and sharp rally, while takeover speculation is circulating but remains unconfirmed.

Celsius Holdings, Inc. engages in the development, marketing, sale, and distribution of functional drinks and liquid supplements. It also offers post-workout functional energy drinks and protein bars. The company was founded in April 2004 and is headquartered in Boca Raton, FL.

Celsius Holdings Inc

A stronger-than-expected third-quarter report is driving attention, with traders welcoming portfolio growth led by Alani Nu and a positive initial share reaction. Debate centers on whether that growth can offset declining revenue in the core CELSIUS brand and compressed gross margins.

Unity Software, Inc. engages in the developing video gaming software. It also provides software solutions to create, run and monetize interactive, real-time two-dimensional and three-dimensional content for mobile phones, tablets, consoles, and augmented and virtual reality devices. Its platform is used by developers, artists, and designers to build content for gaming, film, retail, automotive, architecture, engineering, and construction industries. The company was founded by Joachim Ante and David Helgason in 2004 and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.

Unity Software Inc

Unitys quarterly results beat expectations, delivered its first GAAP profit since going public, and paired rapid Vector advertising growth with stronger guidance, driving a sharp post-earnings rally. Traders largely celebrated a potential turnaround and debated whether the move can hold, while some cautioned about resistance and speculated about short covering.

AMDs strong quarterly results and upbeat outlook have been overshadowed by a sharp selloff alongside chip and AI stocks. Traders debate whether election-related fears about AI regulation and data-center expansion, stretched valuations, or broader sector pressure are driving the decline, while dip buyers argue the companys fundamentals remain intact.

Arm Holdings Plc engages in the licensing, marketing, research, and development of microprocessors, systems IP, graphics processing units, physical IP and associated systems IP, software, and tools. It operates through the following geographical segments: United Kingdom, United States, and Other Countries. The company was founded on November 12, 1990 and is headquartered in Cambridge, the United Kingdom.

Arm Holdings Plc.

Arm shares are under pressure after an earnings beat failed to reassure investors: weaker-than-hoped royalty growth and a largely in-line outlook raised doubts about how quickly AI and data-center demand will translate into recurring revenue. Traders also point to broader selling across semiconductor and AI stocks, while some view the pullback as a buying opportunity.

Sandisk Corp. engages in the development, manufacture, and provision of storage devices and solutions based on NAND flash technology. Its products include solid state drives, memory cards, and USB flash drives. The company was founded on February 5, 2024 and is headquartered in Milpitas, CA.

SanDisk is caught in a memory-sector selloff as election results fuel fears that tighter AI and data-center rules could slow infrastructure growth and chip demand. Traders are split between calling the decline an overreaction given strong results and ongoing demand, and warning that weaker AI spending, memory-price cyclicality, and competition could pressure future earnings.

NVIDIA Corp. engages in the design and manufacture of computer graphics processors, chipsets, and related multimedia software. It operates through the following segments: Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Compute & Networking. The Graphics segment includes GeForce GPUs for gaming and PCs, the GeForce NOW game streaming service and related infrastructure, Quadro and NVIDIA RTX GPUs for enterprise workstation graphics, virtual GPU, or vGPU, software for cloud-based visual and virtual computing, automotive platforms for infotainment systems, and Omniverse Enterprise software for building and operating metaverse and 3D internet applications. The Compute & Networking segment consists of Data Center accelerated computing platforms and end-to-end networking platforms including Quantum for InfiniBand and Spectrum for Ethernet, NVIDIA DRIVE automated-driving platform and automotive development agreements, Jetson robotics and other embedded platforms, NVIDIA AI Enterprise and other software, and DGX Cloud software and services. The company was founded by Jen Hsun Huang, Chris A. Malachowsky, and Curtis R. Priem in April 1993 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.

NVIDIA Corp

Nvidia is under pressure as traders worry that calls for tighter AI regulation and potential data-center permitting delays could slow infrastructure spending, alongside concerns about circular financing and the sustainability of AI demand. The community is split between viewing these risks as signs of an AI-trade unwind and treating the selloff as an overreaction, with some buying the dip ahead of earnings.
