Peter Schiff Says Bitcoin Bear Market Far From Over As It Continues Losing Ground To Gold

Bitcoin Moves Above $112,000 As US Fed Rate-Cut Hopes Rise

Ethereum slipped over 4% to $3,982.13, XRP dipped 6.6% to $2.45, while BNB plunged 10.9% to $3,982.13 after scaling to an all-time high after a report said that a Chinese investment bank is looking to set up a $600 million BNB treasury. Among other tokens, Solana fell 1.3% and Dogecoin dropped 5.6%. &nbsp;According to a Reuters News report, China's commerce ministry said on Tuesday the U.S. cannot seek trade talks while also making threats, raising concerns about whether the two sides will be able to strike a trade deal.On Monday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, is still likely to take place later this month, which helped in a rebound in global equities. However, later he accused Beijing of trying to harm the global economy. Additionally, China and the U.S. will each levy an additional charge on ships from the other country.Investor Ted Pillows noted that the next support level for Bitcoin is the $110,000 to $111,000 level. “If Bitcoin holds this level, we could see a bounce back. Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum Price Move: Cryptos Regain Ground After US-China Trade Tensions Ease A Bit

Bitcoin prices rose to $114,776.10, Ethereum prices gained to $4,142.30, while XRP prices stood at $2.54 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Morgan Stanley (MS) is reportedly expanding access to cryptocurrency investments for all clients, allowing such allocations in any account type, including retirement accounts.According to a CNBC&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/10/morgan-stanley-drops-crypto-fund-restrictions-for-wealth-clients.html#:~:text=Morgan%20Stanley%20on%20Friday%20told,crypto%20funds%20to%20any%20client">report</a>, citing people familiar with the matter,&nbsp; financial advisors were briefed on the policy change on Friday, with the new rules taking effect on October 15.&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/MS">Morgan Stanley’s stock</a> edged 0.3% higher in morning trade. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the bank remained in ‘bullish’ territory amid ‘high’ levels of chatter.&nbsp;Previously, crypto investments were restricted to clients with aggressive risk tolerance and at least $1.5 million in assets who opted for taxable brokerage accounts, the report said. Earlier this month, Morgan Stanley&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/HHorsley/status/1974885353963356185">advised</a> capping cryptocurrency allocations at up to 4% in its most aggressive client portfolios.The report said the financial giant plans to use an automated monitoring system to prevent clients from becoming overexposed to the cryptocurrency market due to its volatility. Advisors will initially be limited to offering Bitcoin (BTC)-focused funds, such as BlackRock’s&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/IBIT">iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF</a> (IBIT) and Fidelity’s&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/FBTC">Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund</a> (FBTC). Both Bitcoin ETFs have gained more than 25% this year as&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BTC.X">Bitcoin’s price</a> has surged to record highs.However, Morgan Stanley is reportedly evaluating other potential crypto offerings, including additional coins and digital asset products, for future inclusion. According to a CNBC report, crypto investments were thus far restricted to clients with aggressive risk tolerance and at least $1.5 million in assets who opted for taxable brokerage accounts.

It can signal stagflation, high inflation, weak growth, and low confidence,” investor Ted Pillows said.Is Bitcoin’s Four-Year Cycle dead?Arthur Hayes, chief investment officer and co-founder of Maelstrom, wrote on Thursday that Bitcoin is unlikely to enter a bear market cycle anytime soon due to favorable monetary conditions, which will put an end to the argument regarding Bitcoin's four-year halving cycle.Hayes said in an essay titled "Long Live the King!" that the primary catalyst behind previous bitcoin bear markets in 2014, 2018, and 2022 was the hawkish monetary policy, not the four-year halving cycle. However, the Fed, alongside other central banks, is likely to increase the supply of money in the near future, which is a positive driver for cryptocurrencies.Citi’s Stablecoin BetSeparately, Citigroup has invested in stablecoin infrastructure company BVNK, according to a CNBC report.
