$SHOP While Canadian market is closed for Thanksgiving this Cdn stock just hit all time high. $SHOP.TSX This is one of my regrets for selling it too soon and didn't buy back in sooner. My two other stocks are also Canadian. $BB $BB.TSX and $QEC.TSX The lesson here is when you find business that is growing at home and abroad you stick with it. I was lucky Shopify is from Ottawa where we live and got to play golf with an engineer from the company way before IPO. QNX of BlackBerry is also from our neighborhood. I was there when QNX team road tested self driving car in 2016. It's been 10 years now and some of those features are in my own car. I am still waiting for QNX to sky rocket our share price similar to Shopify. Happy Thanksgiving.

$SHOP RBC raised its target to 200 dollars from 180 dollars today, third big raise in 10 days after Baird went to 190 dollars and JPMorgan to 200 dollars. Stock still closed down 4.8% at 169.52 dollars. RBC's checks are pretty specific: total merchants up 15% year over year in Q3, Shopify Plus merchants up 24%, merchant admin visitors up 41%. They're calling for a Q3 beat and a Q4 guide above consensus on Nov 3. Subscription price increases only add about 0.4% to Q4 monthly recurring revenue in their model, rising to 4.7% in fiscal 27. So the raise isn't really about pricing, it's merchant growth still compounding.

$SHOP Trimmed 50% after holding for a year, nice run with the Muse news but this is a good time to reevaluate.

Fumbled $SHOP got into it on dip to 140 early September. Stopped out and watched it build out on 200dma. Didn’t get involved again. It’s been so nice. It happens. Can’t own them all.

$SHOP cashed in. Looks like 150$ is a major hurdle. Long term, this agentic shopping is a big deal but would take time monetizing. Will revisit to move onto something else

$SHOP Take this with a grain of salt, I'm a fanboy who's held this stock since...2014? But any bear case about Shopify getting edged out by Amazon just went poof, since now sellers have a renewed incentive to open up their own shops rather than trade profits for exposure (i.e. joining the Amazon machine.) In other words, Muse can find your product without you having to sell your soul to be part of Amazon's predatory ecosystem. Open your Shopify store, set a good price, and wait for Muse to discover you.

$SHOP looks poised to make a run at all-time highs if the broader market cooperates. I’m invested in some of their most popular App Store apps, and they’ve been absolutely on fire lately. From what I’m seeing, business looks strong. 👀📈

$SHOP $AMZN $GOOG I keep coming back to a hypothesis: Amazon and Shopify may be more valuable to each other as partners than as competitors. Not a merger. Not an acquisition. A strategic partnership where each remains independent and contributes what each does best. Shopify has the merchant graph: brands, storefronts, product catalogs and direct customer relationships. Amazon has the consumer graph: shopping intent, Prime, advertising, payments, logistics and fulfillment. That combination is powerful. A+S>G? Shopify helps merchants own the customer relationship. Amazon helps merchants find customers and fulfill demand at enormous scale. Rather than forcing merchants to choose between DTC and marketplaces, deeper integration could make the two ecosystems increasingly complementary: Shopify = merchant op system + brand relationship Amazon = discovery + trust + fulfillment And Alexa 🦅Perched on top of a expanded market 🌎, eyeing her nemesis, Google.🤔 Thoughts?

$SHOP Interesting response from Shopify's CTO when someone asked why they aren't building their own LLM. He said Shopify is already training "frontier-class" AI models, just not for language. They're training them to understand human shopping behavior using something called HSTUs. While OpenAI and Google are training models to understand language, Shopify is training models to predict what people want to buy based on their actual shopping behavior. Shopify potentially has access to shopping data across millions of merchants. That's an enormous advantage that individual retailers can't easily replicate. Now combine that with AI shopping agents that can actually execute purchases. I've said for a long time that Shopify's biggest asset might be its data and it's "rails". This makes that argument even stronger. The potential moat here is pretty incredible.

$SHOP Shopify is outpacing Wall Street, with 5 analyst upgrades in 10 days. With Meta AI checkout integrating with Shop Pay, Shopify’s role in AI-powered commerce is growing. The stock is moving faster than analysts can keep up.
