The big boys are positioning here ahead of CPI. If they are sending a message, it is that CPI will be inline or better and that tech -- specifically chips/memory and some of the AI trades -- is gonna be okay. If true, we should also see strength in smalls, crypto, and metals. $SMH $IWM $GLD.X $IBIT

Seeing people I follow on X out buying chips yesterday and today. Some started Friday. I prefer to see hard evidence of a bottom first. $SMH $NVDA $AMD $MU

$SMH $SOXX $SOXL You want to see it break above the moving average to show strength. Tonights action while positive does not solidify a bottom YET. Lets see if buyers come ready for the ask at open.

$SMH still holding the level like a champ. Waiting for earnings this week: starting off with $META $LRCX to deploy funds back

$SMH received nearly $1.2M in Call Order right off the supporting trendline + horizontal zone! $SMH 562.5 Calls 11/20 📈 Outside of the Bollinger Bands, RSI is just starting to curl. First target at the VPoC ($565)!

$SMH - the semiconductor ETF bounced near its 50dma yesterday. Back to new lows today after higher-than-expected inflation readings increased the odds of more rate hikes this year.

$SMH $DRAM Bill Gunderson’s opinion has been prescient over the years. Rest easy chip investors, and I am buying this dip!

$SMH not short here but they could really cause some pain with mean reversion. When I have no idea.

$SMH "It’s really simple. Our Robots and AI vs their Robots and AI. If we can catch up on robotics/software , and can stay ahead on AI, there is zero reason manufacturing won’t come back, or initiate here" - Mark Cuban $QQQ

seems like data center stocks pricing in a democrat sweep no position here for me $SMH $CRWV $NBIS $NVDA

Other names in the semi $SMH world today triggered short term oversold signals and finished the day with some false breakdown action: $MRVL $NVDA $AMD

Short term oversold signal firing in semis $SMH and names like $INTC today. Strong relative strength vs the market + these setups have historically rewarded dip buyers. $STUDY

$SMH $SOXX lmao how about plot the earnings trajectory under the price before calling 70% corrections in semis

$SMH the last time this closed down 8 or more consecutive days was May 2006 when it dropped 25% peak to bottom 🤔

$SMH $SOXX daily chart looks like it might trade back below the lost trendline and maybe encounter selling there (closer to the 50sma). The structure itself isn't that great looking now after the big sell off. Going to take some chop and to establish a new trading range. Some individual charts are still advancing though. $AMD trading a bit differently. And maybe even internally within the semi sector, we could see rotation between names rather than universal dump moving forward. Broadcom was trading lower before all of this and now starting to look like a reversal could be setting up $AVGO

$SMH $SOXX There are semi trades that are being sold off that don't care if $CRWV $NBIS exists or not. Opportunity is here.

The blue chip chip space showing some very low PEG numbers now. Best value in the market, despite the headwinds. $SMH $NVDA $MU $SKHY These are the top 15 chip stocks with big market cap, liquid, and lowest PEG (though I'm not sure how INTC has a PEG but no PE!)

The desc wedge in $SMH was not symmetrical because it didnt get that 5th touch within. That would’ve been in the 480ish zone. Would be pretty to see this retest of the desc T/L act as place to bounce and hold. It would be the third test of the 30wk moving average over last few months.

$SMH fell 3.98% while $XLV gained 2.53%. Defensive strength did not repair chip participation. Watch for chips, banks and equal weight to hold gains together, with more stocks joining the move. An isolated chip bounce leaves broader confirmation unfinished.

$SMH >> Daily Chart >> The semiconductors were telling us the market was in trouble Down 7 days in a row with a close below the 50 SMA @ 579.88 today after closing below the 100 SMA yesterday Notice 👀 the lower Bollinger Band at 562.83 has been the recent bounce zone After this multi day pullback a technical bounce could follow after retracing from the upper bb to the lower bb The 50 SMA and 580 zone will decide the fate of the next bounce / would need a close above to signal more upside to the 100 SMA Fail to break and short positions would likely be reentered If the 50 SMA remains resistance and the lower bb fails to hold the 200 SMA @ 509.49 would be the next target $SPY $QQQ $NVDA $MU
