Walmart will cover more than 250 prescription medications at no cost to employees starting in 2027, including certain insulin products, inhalers and GLP-1 drugs for diabetes. The expanded benefits include Novo Nordisk’s Ozempic and Eli Lilly’s Mounjaro free for employees with Type 2 diabetes, subject to a new prior authorization requirement. However, GLP-1 medications from both companies will remain excluded when prescribed for weight loss, as employers seek to control rising healthcare expenses. The retailer is expanding benefits to attract and retain workers ahead of its Nov. 6 open-enrollment deadline. Despite rising healthcare costs, Walmart said it is limiting premium increases, raising the cost of its entry-level health plan by $1.50 per pay period to $39.80, a smaller increase than last year. Additional changes include expanding access to specialist second opinions for rare conditions such as ALS, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. $WMT $NVO $LLY

$WMT probably too conservative here on my puts. Next month opex 115 strike. Cost pressures are exploding and people can barely afford essentials. Anything attached to the consumer is a short. Especially where this one sits with its valuation. Walmart used to trade in the mid teens on a forward P/E . Its 37 now.

$WMT Analysis It is gapping up to 119.45 pre-market (+2.8%), extending a 2-week run that started from 103.60 and closed yesterday at the highs. First support is 118 to 118.50, the level to hold on the open. Below that, 116 to 116.20 is the key support at yesterday's close and the gap level, with 114 to 115 as deeper support at the Oct 13 breakout high. Upside targets are 120 first, the big round number, then 121, with 122.50+ if buyers keep pressing.

$WMT 200 day 118.45 today . As with cost we will cross it. Those with stars in their eyes .. including myself.. as the rsi moves above 70 and toward 79, and the macd into 250 area.. yellow flag. Yes ..still could do 120 area but as we approach a 20% gain off of 104 in 2 weeks, big boys will trim.

$WMT The stars are getting lined up. Costco, hits and exceeds its two hundred day moving average today. Walmart... i think there's a pretty good chance it will exceed It's two hundred day before or by Fri close. Both of the safety stocks were oversold. Both have rallied off of the september october lows. ( And to a certain extent home depot) Thinking now 1040 to 1050 for costco and 120 to 130 for wmt while a few AI high flyers get there wings clipped a little more. (No fear..they will be back)
