Paracetamol Syrup Batch Fails Quality Test In Jabalpur, Discontinued At Government Hospitals
A batch of Paracetamol Paediatric Oral Suspension (125 mg/5 ml), supplied to government hospitals in Jabalpur, was stopped after failing quality tests in Bhopal. CMHO Dr Naveen Kothari ordered an immediate recall. Manufactured by Zenith Drugs Limited, the batch is under investigation. Officials said strict monitoring systems ensure only tested medicines are given to patients.
