Anybody can participate in Compound governance by receiving delegation, without needing to own COMP.  Anybody with 1% of COMP delegated to their address can propose a governance action; these are simple or complex sets of actions, such as adding support for a new asset, changing an asset’s collateral factor, changing a market’s interest rate model, or changing any other parameter or variable of the protocol that the current administrator can modify.

To manage its long-term economy, the project uses a programmatic dual-burn strategy that permanently removes tokens through real-time fee destruction and quarterly buybacks.  Launched in 2017 by the Binance platform, the project initially distributed 50% of its 200 million token supply to the public, while the founding team received 40% and angel investors were allocated 10%. Though it began as a token on the Ethereum network, it eventually migrated to its own autonomous architecture that remains fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Today, the token's utility includes paying for network gas, participating in staking rewards, and enabling decentralized governance through which holders can vote on technical upgrades and economic changes.

To keep transaction fees low and the network running indefinitely, Dogecoin features an uncapped supply where new coins are added forever. In a major regulatory milestone in March 2026, a joint SEC and CFTC framework officially classified Dogecoin as a digital commodity, placing it in the same asset category as gold or oil.

Morocco ranks 65th in Global Stability Index, leading North Africa

Morocco has been ranked 65th globally in the newly developed Periodic Table of States (PTOS), a worldwide stability index created by Indian political analyst Barach Ghana, director of Alphageo for Future Studies and Research. With a score of 13.79 points, Morocco tops North Africa in terms of stability. Algeria follows in 69th place, while Egypt ranks 78th. Tunisia and Mauritania occupy the 88th and 138th positions, respectively. Libya, grappling with prolonged political instability since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, ranks among the lower-tier countries. Within the Arab League, Saudi Arabia leads the rankings at 24th globally, followed by the UAE (27th), Qatar (34th), Kuwait (53rd), and Bahrain (60th). The PTOS evaluates stability based on two sub-indices. The first, “State Power,” extends beyond military strength, population, and territorial size to assess industrial infrastructure, energy resources, public debt, investment climate, and currency stability. Morocco scored 8.72 points in this category.
