During Novo’s earnings call on Wednesday, the company said that it has successfully completed a mid-stage study of the drug and will now initiate a late-stage study during the course of 2025. The company also said that it will share detailed data from the mid-stage study at a medical conference later this year.Under the terms of the agreement between Prothena and Novo Nordisk, the former company is eligible to receive up to $1.2 billion upon achievement of clinical development and sales milestones.Prothena is also eligible to earn a clinical milestone payment when prespecified enrollment criteria are met in the late-stage clinical trial. Prothena's 10% owner keeps buying. William Scully filed a Form 4 on Friday showing 125,000 shares bought at about $8.40 on Oct 7, then another 90,000 at about $8.57 on Oct 8. Roughly $1.8 million across the two days. 
 
It adds up fast: five separate buys since Sept 28, about 580,000 shares in two weeks, close to $5 million total. 
 
Shares closed Friday at $8.87, up 3%, still below the 200-day average of $9.34.
