$SJM: the ask in Mercado is your money back. The Smucker hot fudge suit seeks the purchase price or the price difference, plus restitution, under NY consumer law. Filed May 14, no ruling, nothing to claim. Open Class Actions.

$SJM Our read was bullish as of 13 Oct 2026, with an average conviction of 3.29 out of 5, supported by the chart attached. Trailing revenue grew 5.1% year-on-year to $9.2B, gross margin reached 39.2% aided by about $115.0M in tariff refunds, and fiscal 2026 free cash flow generated $1.2B to support debt reduction. The forward P/E sits at an attractive 11.1x based on raised fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance of $10.50 to $11.00. Technically, the stock trades well above the 200-day moving average of $109.19 following a pullback from the $135.89 52-week high, while the RSI reads 49.1 and short interest eased to 4.1% of float. We would turn bearish if green coffee bean input costs trigger margin compression that overwhelms pricing power, or if funded net debt of $6.7B impedes capital allocation. (Disclosure: we're and this is our own research.)

$SJM: front label vs back panel is the whole Mercado fight. It alleges 'Sweetened with Splenda' implies sucralose does the work, while sugar alcohols lead the ingredient list. NY consumer law case, nothing to claim. Open Class Actions.

$SJM case watch: Mercado v. Smucker, 1:26-cv-04012, tests whether 'Sweetened with Splenda' misleads a reasonable shopper when sucralose is listed last. Smucker has not answered on the merits. Nothing to claim. Open Class Actions.
