$VKTX BL is a brilliant scientist. No doubt about that, and there’s no question that this is what interests him. But at this point, a CMO role alongside a position on the board would be more appropriate. There’s simply no way we should have to put up with a CEO on that kind of salary and compensation package who manages to talk the stock down by 5% every single fucking time he opens his mouth, while saying absolutely nothing.

$VKTX VKTX stock price in September, 2018 hit $24/share. In the over 8 years since that time, the stock price is up 3 cents. Since that time, clinical trials have shown that VKTX has a MASH drug sitting on the shelf after P2 that actually appears to be better than the leading MASH drug Rezdiffra. VKTX has an obesity drug late in P3 that appears to be better than the world's best-selling drug. Yet VKTX is up three cents in eight years, in spite of tremendous clinical results and having drugs that look like world-beaters. Maybe it's time for new leadership?

$VKTX Folks harp on BL alleging lack of clarity. They're wrong. BL has been crystal clear, but his just-the-facts approach, absolute refusal to hype, and generally uncharismatic diction and occasional stammering distracts the impatient from his stated goals: 1. All in on VK2735 2. Non-metabolic assets along with VK2018 are on sale 3. A partnership would be limited Many on the board don't want to hear that. Well, that's a far cry from the claim that BL lacks clarity. Clarity to them is a BO at any price. Um, no? Viking *may* get bought. If it does, it's not going to be at a price dictated by BP hedgers torpedoeing the SP. It's certainly not going to be determined by retail whiners. No, it will be determined by the future value of a commercialized portfolio. Today, that would be at least $50B. IMHO. Insulting offers will be shown the door and invited to never return. On that, BL has been abundantly clear. Long hold. Insanely...

$VKTX BL needs to pen a partnership deal or sell the company and we need to hear something about it this afternoon. If we go another 6 months in the dark they won’t have the market cap to raise enough money to GIA.

$VKTX If CEO was so shrewd and was THE guy he would have played this out differently. For starters with a drug this good he would have pumped the hell out of it when speaking instead if sounding like a shy toddler. He woudnt have raised and let the stock run up to 50s and possibly even 60s. Instead of dilution he would have sold MASH drug by now to avoid lawsuit with China third party and that would have given him more than the 500m he diluted for and made the SP skyrocket even more as then he would have enough money to even GIA without further dilution so THAT risk goes away and then he actually has leverage with BP for the company when selling or partnering as SP would be much higher then and cash too. Instead he does nothing and lawsuits follow and he goes in here every ER and mumbles. Great company with insane assets but incompetent management that are only good at running trails.
