$BCBC Bitcoin Bancorp, Inc.
Digital-market infrastructure involves several different business functions, and Bitcoin Bancorp is advocating a more precise way to distinguish them.
Its October 8 update describes the company’s SEC comment on tokenized-stock market structure. The company requests clearer boundaries for providers supporting identity verification, anti-money laundering compliance, lawful funding, digital-asset conversion and wallet services.
The strategic relevance lies in specialization. Each function has its own obligations, and BCBC argues that the provider’s actual activities should determine its regulatory role. A supporting technology service and the entity controlling securities execution perform different jobs.
